Structures

## What it means in packaging

It is a construction reference used when discussing carton bodies and closures. A code does not establish the printed design, product fit or material suitability. It should be checked against the intended carton drawing.

## A practical example

A tuck carton can carry an ECMA style code while its dimensions, board and artwork vary between products.

## What to check

Use the complete reference supplied with the structure, and do not substitute a corrugated FEFCO code for a carton code.
