Production and files

## What it means in packaging

A job ticket communicates structured production metadata to compatible workflow systems. It is separate from the artwork and structural files it may reference. A valid ticket alone does not establish that a particular press or MIS will execute it.

## A practical example

A printer bundle can pair print files with a ticket that identifies job quantities and production resources.

## What to check

Agree the receiving system’s supported version, fields and resource references, then test the handoff.
