## What it means in packaging

The two ends therefore tuck in opposite directions. This affects which panel carries each closure and how artwork continues around the carton. The term describes flap orientation, rather than a universal strength advantage.

## A practical example

On a reverse tuck carton, the top main flap may extend from the back panel while the bottom main flap extends from the front.

## What to check

Check the front-panel artwork, opening direction and flap overlaps in the folded proof before finalising graphics.
