DielineMaker artwork: place a label, choose fit and inspect the flat layout 00:00:00.000 Choose the face before uploading artwork Continue with the sixty by forty by one-hundred-millimetre tea carton. Download the Grove tea front image from the guide. This vibrant sample artwork was generated for the tutorial; it is not a production-approved tea label. In Design, open Upload and choose the intended front face before loading the file. Check the target face in the selection controls. A panel image decorates that face. A complete artwork file arranged across an entire dieline is a different source, so confirm what you are importing and which surface it should cover. 00:00:31.283 Choose fit, position, and bleed deliberately Select the placed image and choose Contain for this bordered label. Contain preserves the complete image; Cover fills the destination by cropping; Stretch changes its proportions. Use the handles and movement controls to position the label, and read the selected layer name to confirm the correct file and face. The example reports four hundred and seventy-seven pixels per inch at its current print size. Enlarging a raster image reduces its effective resolution. Bleed fill is off for this intentionally inset design. Auto, Mirror, Stretch edges, Soft backdrop, and Solid can extend a background, but those repairs do not recover missing original artwork. 00:01:10.568 Inspect both the flat artwork and folded result Switch to the flat view and inspect the full arrangement. Check that text and important details stay clear of cuts and folds, and keep the glue area suitable for the converter’s requirements. Confirm whether you are editing the outside or inside. Then look at the folded preview to catch a label on the wrong face, an upside-down panel, or an unintended gap. Layer order controls what appears in front of other artwork, so review the layer list after adding text or another image. Save an editable Foldline project for future changes. A rendered picture is useful for presentation, but it does not preserve the editable production setup.
