Converter libraries combine structural know-how with particular materials, equipment and customer requirements. A supplier design reference is meaningful within that supplier’s system and may not have a public one-to-one template equivalent.

DielineMaker does not reproduce or claim complete support for Sonoco, WestRock or International Paper proprietary libraries. The examples below are independent starting points for a brief.

## What supplier resources establish

International Paper describes MasterDesign within its innovation offering. Sonoco offers packaging design and testing, while Smurfit Westrock provides retail display and signage services. These resources establish supplier capabilities, not a universal code catalog.

| Reference | What it means | Design use |
| --- | --- | --- |
| International Paper / MasterDesign | Supplier design resource. | Obtain the specific approved drawing and revision. |
| Sonoco | Design, material selection and testing services. | Agree product protection and production requirements. |
| WestRock / Smurfit Westrock | Supplier packaging and retail-display resources. | Confirm the current supplier specification and contact. |
| Native recipe | Independently editable geometry. | Use for concept comparison; do not relabel as the supplier’s design. |

## Handoff an approved drawing

Ask the converter for units, scale, material, cut and crease conventions, glue areas, print side and revision status. Preserve structural geometry when placing artwork.

A similar-looking native template can help explain intent, but replacing an approved supplier dieline changes the production basis. Have the converter review any proposed substitute before tooling or manufacture.

## Common questions

### Can I search a proprietary supplier code and assume an exact match?

No. Obtain the source drawing and compare the full geometry and material specification.

### What should I send with a concept template?

Include the packed product dimensions, quantity, material preference, closure, distribution route and the design file revision.
