Will the vacuum skin tray lidding template fit my product?
Clear lidding film follows a generic product and the exposed floor of a black tray. The export is the nominal film trim and rim reference, without film draw or artwork compensation. The default reference dimensions are Rim width 190 mm, Rim depth 135 mm, Overall height 30 mm. Match the artwork area to your supplier’s measured print area; the displayed object dimensions do not establish production tolerances.
Can I change the size and design?
Yes. The supported ranges are Rim width 80–320 mm, Rim depth 65–260 mm, Overall height 25–130 mm. At the default settings, the editor also exposes Seal / rim width, Vacuum skin preview, Product width, Product depth, Product height, Product footprint and 4 more options. Add your own artwork and preview the result in 3D. Resizing changes the model and artwork reference areas.
Does this template specify the material for the product?
Exports contain the nominal lidding film trim and rim seal reference. Skin previews do not calculate film draw, artwork compensation, or floor-contact tooling. Confirm the film and tray specifications with the converter; tray tooling is separate. Confirm the actual product material, print surface and finishing process with your supplier; a 3D appearance is not a manufacturing specification.
