Testing and production
BOBST box styles and converting references
Turn a BOBST style-library request into a clear carton drawing and machine-capability brief.

BOBST supplies converting equipment and application examples. A BOBST machine or application reference helps discuss production, but does not establish that every carton of a named style will run on a particular line.
No complete public BOBST style-code library is reproduced here. The native carton templates are independent examples and are not BOBST-approved machine recipes.
Identify the production question
BOBST’s pharma application material describes die-cutting, folding-gluing, inspection and Braille capabilities. The relevant configuration depends on the carton and the installed equipment.
| Reference | What it means | Design use |
|---|---|---|
| Carton drawing | Specifies panels, closures and glue areas. | Send the actual dieline for a production review. |
| Folder-gluer configuration | Determines how the blank is fed, folded and glued. | Confirm the machine, modules, material and size range. |
| ACCUBRAILLE | BOBST equipment for Braille embossing. | Agree tooling and finished-pack inspection separately. |
| Inspection workflow | Checks relevant production features. | Define the defects and acceptance criteria for the job. |
From editable concept to a running job
Prototype the native carton at product size, then ask the converter to confirm feed direction, crease behaviour, glue access and opening features on its installed line.
Machine compatibility is a production finding. Preserve the converter-approved drawing revision and sample evidence instead of inferring compatibility from a style name or a 3D preview.

Common questions
Are these official BOBST templates?
No. They are DielineMaker native structures linked to explain the production discussion.
Does a BOBST Braille module make my artwork compliant?
The equipment provides a production capability. Approved content, placement, tooling and finished-pack verification still need to be specified.
