Candles & home
Candle and home-product packaging guide
Measure the finished vessel with its lid and accessories, then decide how it is located inside the carton. A candle jar, a reed diffuser and a household refill can share a visual brand while requiring different protection, print areas and supplier checks.

- Measure the closed vessel, including projecting lids, pumps or diffuser fittings.
- Plan a separate position for reeds, tools or an instruction card.
- Check label placement on the actual vessel, including the base and any taper.

A supplied product model provides artwork areas. A packaging structure provides the corresponding dieline. Check the individual template page before preparing a production handoff.
Materials and supplier checks
Choose carton and insert stock from the structure’s supported materials. Select label stock and adhesive with the vessel supplier; preview gloss, matte or clear options to compare artwork, then test the actual application.
Have the product owner approve warnings, instructions and claims for the specific candle, fragrance or household product. Ask the supplier to verify vessel protection, label adhesion and compatibility; a 3D scene does not test them.
Choose the tool for the job
Match the next task to its workflow before choosing a template or buying a plan.
| Your task | Start here | Why it fits |
|---|---|---|
| Fit a candle carton and insert | Dieline generator | Build the outer pack around the measured vessel and its protection. |
| Place a vessel or base label | Artwork and layers workflow | Inspect the actual label boundary and keep small text clear of edges. |
| Show a fragrance collection | SKU batch workflow | Apply variant artwork to the correctly sized pack for each product. |
Check current plans and export access before purchasing. Production suitability and supplier approval remain separate from the visual proof.

Common questions
Does the candle template manufacture the jar?
No. The jar is a supplied object in the preview. Its label or decoration template describes printed artwork; vessel tooling and manufacturing specifications come from the supplier.
How do I size a carton for a glass candle vessel?
Measure the completed vessel and the proposed protective insert together. Use that assembly to set the inside dimensions, then verify removal, closure and transport protection with a physical sample.
