Electronics packaging guide
Lay out the device, cable, adapter and documentation before selecting the carton. Define how each item is held and removed. A device-screen mockup can show the product experience, while the packaging template defines the separate printed pack.

- Measure the full kit and note projecting controls, connectors or fragile surfaces.
- Separate the device cavity from accessory and documentation compartments.
- Ask the product team for handling, protection and transport requirements before choosing stock.
Compare relevant structures and products
The catalog currently includes 141 matching templates and named sizes. The groups below are useful starting points; coordinated brand sets are counted separately.
| Group and count | An editable starting point | Download purpose |

| Boxes & cartons 21 templates and sizes | USB stick box 75 × 15 × 25 mm Browse this group | dieline |
| Inserts & protection 3 templates and sizes | Display-screen corner cap Browse this group | dieline |

| Devices & screens 28 templates and sizes | Compact smartphone Browse this group | artwork template |
A supplied product model provides artwork areas. A packaging structure provides the corresponding dieline. Check the individual template page before preparing a production handoff.
Materials and supplier checks
Compare permitted carton, corrugated or rigid-board options for the chosen structure. Any cushioning or electrostatic-protection requirement needs an actual supplier specification; a material colour or generic insert model does not provide it.
The responsible product and logistics teams should approve markings, instructions and transport arrangements, including any batteries. Check the loaded physical kit and its protection before releasing the production file.
Choose the tool for the job
Match the next task to its workflow before choosing a template or buying a plan.
| Your task | Start here | Why it fits |
|---|---|---|
| Fit the device and accessories | Box size calculator | Work from the assembled kit and its insert instead of only the device dimensions. |
| Use an engineered insert outline | Supplier dieline import | Preserve the supplier’s cavities and fold geometry. |
| Review product and package graphics | 3D mockup studio | Inspect the visual presentation while keeping physical testing separate. |
Check current plans and export access before purchasing. Production suitability and supplier approval remain separate from the visual proof.

Common questions
Does a foam or paperboard insert preview guarantee protection?
No. Its geometry helps with layout. The supplier must specify the material and tolerances, and the complete loaded pack needs the agreed protection tests.
Will a device mockup export a hardware manufacturing drawing?
No. Device templates expose artwork or screen areas. Use a separate packaging structure for the carton and obtain hardware drawings from the product manufacturer.
